Introducing Paxton Steele Seibold

Paxton is finally here! I was induced on Monday and it was a long, long process. I was dialated to a 2 for most of the day. At 6:30 I finally got my epidural and was still at a 2. At 11:00 pm I was at a 4 1/2 and in one short hour I was at a 10 and ready to push. I pushed for an hour and 15 minutes and everything went very smoothly. Epidurals are heaven!!

Paxton was born at 2:45 a.m. on September 23, 2008. He weighed 6 lbs 11 oz and was 19 inches long. He is such a good, healthy baby! The pediatricians do not think that Paxton has down syndrome, but they did do genetic testing just to know for sure. We will find out in a few weeks, but he isn't showing any signs!

Aunt Ashley was able to be in on the delivery and was the nurse that "caught" him. She also got to give him his first bath. She absolutely loved being able to be Paxton's first nurse!

More pictures to follow when my internet is working better
