I'm staying up way past my bedtime thinking about where I was last year at this time. I was laying comfortably (maybe that's an exaggeration, I should say "painlessly") in my hospital bed getting ready to start pushing. At 2:45 a.m. Paxton was born. He weighed 6 lbs 11 oz and was 19 inches long. I remember that day like it was yesterday. It was a day I had looked forward to for 9 long months: I finally got to meet my lil' guy! He was so perfect and I couldn't believe the love that I had for him immediately, it was so overwhelming.
I can't believe he is 1! Such a bittersweet moment for me. I miss the little baby that would snuggle with me for hours, but I love the fun, curious little toddler he is becoming. I love being a mom so much- He makes it so easy fun and easy. I couldn't have asked for a better baby! I love you, Pax... more than you will ever know!
More pictures of Pax's 1st year to come later today!

He even waited till Chad and I were both home from school and work to do it. He only takes about 3 to 6 steps each time and is very wobbly, but he is on his way to running! (Sorry, turn your heads so you can see this. I don't know how to turn it around)

This weekend Wynn, Lindsay, and Chandler came to visit. We had so much fun. The dads played racquetball and watched BYU, while the moms went shopping! We wish they lived closer so we could hang out more often! Thanks guys for coming and visiting.
