Mess Maker!

Pax is sound asleep for the night and I look at my house and wonder what happened? Was there a hurricane or tornado?
Yes...Hurricane Paxton!

He loves to unload all of DVDs of the shelf several times a day!

Pax has recently become quite interested in reading his books!
CAUGHT IN THE ACT!
I caught Paxton unloading his wipes and fast as he possibly could. When he realized I caught him and tried to crawl away as fast as he could!
I have to go clean up his messes! I know as soon as the cute little guy wakes up tomorrow I will do this 20 more times! I love him so much and love watching him play with toys and entertain himself. He's the best!

YUM!

Pax loves food. The problem is he makes a huge mess and pretty much needs a bath after every meal. It's cute though!

I got some cute pictures of him eating spaghetti and he LOVED IT! He usually says "Mmm" after every bite!

His bib says it all!

Feeding the Ducks

Last Monday, for Family Home Evening, we went and fed the ducks at the greenbelt (and went for a nice, long walk). Pax even said "du" for duck!

Pax has began pointing at everything. When he was younger he would hold his fingers like this, but wouldn't really be pointing at anything. Now he actually is pointing to something... most the time!

Are we feeding the ducks or Paxton?

"Are we going to go walking yet? I'm bored already since you won't let me grab the ducks"

Lunch Date with Mama

Pax and I went to Pocatello last week for a lunch/play date with my great friend, Mandy, and her 2 adorable kids. Mandy and I went to grad school together. We got used to seeing each other daily and talking all the time during those 2 years. Now that we don't get that we go through withdrawls! We try to meet up once a month so we can chat and the kids can play.

Here is a picture of Pax and his Mama at lunch. He loves my phone so we took a picture with it! He looks so big!!
This was at Mandy and I's favorite lunch place during school.... 5th Street Bagelry. We would often escape from the craziness of school and go indulge in yummyness!

Paxton's "Firsts" & Summer Update

This summer has been filled with fun! Many of our fun things we have done have been Pax's "first" experience. Here are some of them:

1st trip to Jackson Hole: We ate yummy food, saw daddy's rapids he always talks about from his youth floating trip, saw a fake buffalo, and played with antlers
1st and 2nd (and many more to come) 4-wheeler rides and camping: Pax loved it and has fallen asleep everytime. We are so glad he likes it and look foward to many many more trips. He had fun camping but wanted to play on the ground in the dirt.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd haircuts: the first 2 weren't much to talk about. The 3rd hair cut I chopped it all off and gave him a buzz for the summer. I can still give him a little mohawk and I am shocked at how fast his hair has grown.
3rd Haircut: Lots of hair short little mohawk

1st Trip to Bear Lake: we had lots of fun at Chad's family reunion. It was different having kids there, but pax loved it 1st real boat ride: Pax rode on the boat in Bear Lake. Had lots of fun but hated the life vest 1st Snowcone: loved it... big surprise!

1st time crawling and standing up to everything: Pax is crawling on all fours at Mach speed. He is standing up to everything and walking around furniture with support. If the bathroon door is open he makes a bee line for it... for some reason he loves to stand next to the tum. LOOK @ those fat rolls... he has even slimmed down since he has been crawling!
1st and many trips to the zoo
1st swimming lessons
1st Real Foods: Pax is loving all the real food he gets now. We haven't found anything he won't eat. Hopefully it stays that way!

Mac n' Cheese is yummy

We have had such a fun summer. We just got back from Smiley Creek (by Redfish Lake) where we spent the weekend with Chad's high school friends and their wives. This was our 3rd year of doing this and it was fun. Pax came along and loved the dogs... Carly please e-mail me the pictures of Pax with Emri!

Chad starts school in a week and a half, so our summer is coming to an end. It goes by way to fast. Also, I forgot to brag... Chad got on "A" in A & P this summer! Everyone who has taken this class knows that that is AMAZING! Good Job Hun!

Pax is almost one... I can't believe it. He is talking more and more and getting around so well. He is such a good natured baby and seldom cries. He is starting to throw fits if we take something away, but we think its adorable!

Swimming Lessons

Paxton has had swimming lessons all week. He has it with his friends Benji and Caleb (same cute boys we went to the zoo with). It has been lots of fun. Pax is getting more used to the water. He likes to kick and splash. He doesn't love being dunked, but he is getting so that he doesn't despise it.

Pax thinks these boys are great!

All tuckered out from swimming lessons
