Introducing...

Labor:

We had to wait a few days to be induced. The plan was to be induced on Monday evening, but the hospital was full for 2 days. Finally, they were able to fit me in on Wednesday evening. I went in that evening to start on some drugs that would make me dilate. They broke my water the next morning at almost 8:00 am, got my epidural around 9:00 am, and sweet Paizley arrived around 10:00. I can't complain at all (except, that I was having contractions all night and the on-call Dr. wouldn't break my water and I knew it would go super fast once they did... and I was right). I have been spoiled with two easy deliveries. Paizley was born with tons of dark dark hair, but it didn't seem to grow as much in the front (thank goodness for headbands and bows!). She also looks a lot like Pax. So far, she has been such an easy baby. Paxton loves his "baby sissy" but has definitely had some difficulties adjusting to the "big brother" role.

Paizley's Blessing & Moving:

I checked out of the hopsital Friday evening and all our family arrived a few hours later. On Saturday we blessed Paizley at out church, went to brunch, and began moving our stuff out of our house. We put all our belongings in a storage unit for the summer and left Pocatello. Paizley's blessing was wonderful and feel so blessed that Chad is a worthy priesthood holder. I have to say Thank you to our great families who came and moved all our stuff and dealt with my hormonal craziness! We love you all so much!

Paizley is wearing my blessing dress I wore 26 years ago!

Reno:

Chad left for Reno on Mother's Day and I stayed behind for a week at my mom's. It wasn't easy being away from Chad and he had a hard time leaving me, Paxton, and 3-day old Paiz. I made it down here a few days ago and it has been nice to be all together again. A huge thanks to my mom and grandma who drove down here with me! It is going to be so nice to stay home with my 2 kids all summer and not have to worry about work.

In other news:

1. CHAD WAS ACCEPTED INTO GRADUATE SCHOOL IN POCATELLO!! So, it looks like we will be returning to Poky in August.

2. We are also looking forward to Hailey's wedding in August! It is sad being so far away and missing out on all the wedding planning but I am so grateful for cell phones and the Internet to stay in touch! Welcome to the family, Tyson!

STAY TUNED!! MANY, MANY MORE PICTURES TO COME!!

A quick update

I have been a horrible blogger for the past year. I am sorry!
(Please excuse the not-so-good-quality of pictures... they are off my phone or old blog posts. Kind of blurry)

  • Things are going great! I am now 32 weeks. I am feeling great... a little uncomfortable, but so much better than my first 1/2 of this pregnancy. We are getting so excited for this new bundle of love to arrive. We no longer have a name picked out, but we have narrowed it down to 2 (for now, anyways!) Here is a little tummy comparison...
  • Paxton is getting so big. He says the cutest things and has the sweetest, most loving spirit. He is constantly telling us he loves us or someone in our family or a friend. He loves giving hugs and kisses. He loves preschool! He is getting so close to being potty trained. His diapers are dry in the morning and he does a potty dance everytime he is holding it... he's just not quite ready for the potty. Hopefully this happens in the next few months. Paxton loves giving "baby sissy" hugs and kisses and says her name is "Princess". His newest obsessions are a show called "Calliou", Buzz Lightyear (pretty much anything Toy Story), and Despicable Me.
  • Note: The "big Buzz" incentive did not work and was a total disaster!!

  • Chad is waiting to hear about his graduate school acceptance. He will find out in the next 2-4 weeks! He is getting excited for his summer job... Reno, NV here we come!
  • We are moving to Reno, NV for the summer... which means I am taking the entire summer off! I am so excited and feel blessed that this oppotunity has came to us!

Sweetest Big Brother

Tonight, I had this conversation with Pax:
Me: "Paxton, what is baby sissy going to look like? You?"
Paxton: "No"
Me: "What is she going to look like?"
Paxton: "A PRINCESS!"
I have no clue where that came from. Paxton says the cutest things lately.

He is going to be such a sweet big brother!

Paxton all ready to ride the go-go (4-wheeler) with Pop at Christmas. He LOVES LOVES LOVES the go-go, even if it is freezing!

Our baby!

Best News:
Baby looks healthy and has a nasal bone. As many of you know, I have been so nervous about the ultrasound and worried it would be like Paxton's. So happy to report that it went so smoothly and we can't stop smiling!

DRUM ROLL PLEASE:
Paxton has a HEALTHY baby SISTER on the way!!

and for some reason all I want to do now is go shopping !! Oh boy.....

Boy or Girl??

Tomorrow is the big day!! We find out if we are having a boy or a girl. Most importantly, we find out if little baby Seibold is healthy. We want a baby brother for Paxton, but won't be surprised if it's a baby sister!
We are so excited!
